Dignitas qualify for BLAST Premier Fall Showdown

Patrik "⁠f0rest⁠" Lindberg's side dispatched of 00NATION and Copenhagen Flames in the playoffs to win the Nordic Masters qualifier.

Dignitas are through to the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown following a grand final victory over Copenhagen Flames in Nordic Masters Fall. The Swedish side topped Group A after beating ENCE and 777, and fought their way past 00NATION in the playoff semi-finals to book a ticket to the qualifying match.

Copenhagen Flames, meanwhile, also went through the group stage undefeated, beating Lyngby Vikings and fnatic — the latter of whom would go on to be eliminated in their decider match against Vito "⁠kNgV-⁠" Giuseppe's men — before easing past HAVU in a one-sided series.

The grand final kicked off on Overpass, and it was Dignitas who seemed to be in control at the onset as they secured a 9-6 lead by the break. Once the sides swapped over though, Copenhagen Flames were in the driver's seat, putting on a masterclass on the CT side to take their map pick 16-11.

Dignitas were quick to reply on Nuke, making up for a 1-5 start as they ran away with the first half, winning ten rounds straight for a dominant lead. Another early string of rounds from Copenhagen Flames closed the gap somewhat, but once rifles were back in the hands of the Swedes, the map was brought to a swift close.

Vertigo was a closer affair as the teams remained deadlocked at halftime; however, f0rest helped his team to run away with the lead in the second half, posting a 1.50 rating and mustering a 29-17 K-D en route to a 16-12 finish.
